Best Man Speech for Brother

Good evening, everyone. For those who don't know me, I'm James, and I have the incredible honor of being Tom's best man today. But more importantly, I've had the even greater honor of being his brother for the past 32 years.

Growing up with Tom was... an adventure. He was the kid who convinced me that jumping off the garage roof with a garbage bag parachute was a "scientific experiment." Spoiler alert: it wasn't. Mom still has the hospital bill.

But in all seriousness, Tom has always been the kind of person who throws himself completely into everything he does—whether it's jumping off roofs, building his career, or, most importantly, loving Sarah. I've watched my brother date a few people over the years, but I've never seen him light up the way he does around Sarah. She brings out the best in him—the thoughtful, caring, genuinely funny side that maybe the rest of us had to dig a little deeper to find.

Sarah, you've become the sister I never had but always wanted. You laugh at Tom's terrible jokes, you support his wild ideas, and you somehow make him want to be a better man every single day. That's not easy—trust me, I've been trying for three decades.

Tom, my advice to you is simple: keep doing what you're doing. Keep making her laugh, keep listening to her, and for the love of God, keep taking out the trash without being asked. Marriage is a partnership, and from what I've seen, you two are the perfect team.

So please, everyone, join me in raising your glasses. To Tom and Sarah—may your love story be filled with as much laughter as tears, as many adventures as quiet moments, and may you always jump off life's metaphorical roofs together. Cheers!
