Good evening, everyone. For those who don’t know me, I’m Sam, and I’ve been Tom’s best friend since we were eleven, which means I have twenty years of material and a strict instruction from Priya to use about two minutes of it.
The summer we were nineteen, Tom announced he would lead a camping trip. He had the map, the stove and a brand-new tent. What the AI does, and what only you can do
The drafter turns your notes into a structured, speakable first draft: it picks the strongest memory for the story, finds the turn, and ends on a toast. It never invents names, places or events. Where it needs a detail you did not give, it leaves a [square-bracket gap] for you to fill.
What it cannot do is know the joke that only works because of the way your brother says “right then.” Treat the draft as scaffolding. Replace anything generic with something true, then read it aloud until it sounds like you.
