Our Privacy-First Approach

SpeechCraft is built with your privacy as a top priority. We believe your personal stories, memories, and speech content belong to you - not on our servers.

Data Collection & Storage

What We DON'T Collect

  • No user accounts - We don't require registration or login
  • No server-side storage - Your speeches never live on our servers
  • No personal information - We don't collect names, emails, or contact details
  • No tracking across sites - We don't follow you around the internet
  • No selling of data - Your information is never sold to third parties

What We DO Store (Locally in Your Browser Only)

  • Your draft speeches - Stored in your browser's IndexedDB (never on our servers)
  • Your speech history - Saved locally so you can access previous speeches
  • Your preferences - Settings like tone preferences, saved in browser storage

Important: All this data stays in YOUR browser. If you clear your browser data, your speeches will be deleted. We recommend downloading important speeches as PDF files.

AI Processing

When you click "Generate Speech," your input is temporarily sent to our AI provider:

AI Provider: Vercel AI Gateway (using OpenAI GPT-5 Nano model)

What Gets Sent: The information you entered in the speech form (names, stories, relationship details), your selected preferences (tone, length, style), and the type of speech you're creating.

Your input data is NOT stored by us on any server. We have configured our AI integration to not train on your data and not store your inputs beyond the processing session.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. We track page views and navigation patterns with anonymized visitor statistics. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Cookies

We use minimal essential cookies for language preference. We do NOT use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or social media tracking pixels.

Your Rights & Control

You have complete control over your data:

  • Delete Your Data: Clear your browser data or use our "Clear History" button
  • Export Your Speeches: Download any speech as a PDF
  • No Account to Delete: Since we don't have user accounts, there's nothing to delete on our end
